Catching Your Vision

Dec 4, 2008 by     No Comments    Posted under: Writing Habits

Yesterday I read this quote by Louis L’Amour in John Maxwell’s book, Developing the Leader Within You. “Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.”

What does this mean for you?

I’ve been thinking a lot about this, my vision for myself and family. Writing is one of the things I love, to craft the words, to see what characters tell me. But I also use a lot of excuses, to not write every day.

I’m going to make this commitment today, now. There are some things in life that just need changing. But like Louis says, transformation won’t happen until we make it happen.
